New baby Boy Card

Another one of my buys from the NEC was some die cuts from Lili of the Valley. They are soooooooo cute and great to make a quick card when you've no time for stamping and colouring in an image.

NEC goodies and new card

I went to the NEC on Friday with my Mum. We had a lovely time, the great thing about going with my Mum is that we can share our goodies and go halves on offers. My main buys were some Martha Stewart edge punches, I've had my eye on them for a while. I also got some stamps and some lovely goodies from my favouriate shop, Craftwork cards. (we went to their stall first). Other stuff included, Lili of the valley die cuts, card blanks, dst, gems, flowers, ribbons, paper etc. I've been having fun playing over the weekend. Here's a card that I made with some of my new stuff.

Football card

Our household are feeling a lot better now. My Son turned out to have a 24hr bug, don't think it was actually down to too much cake!! Luckily he didn't share his germs around the rest of us.

I had a busy crafting session last night. My Mother-in-law asked me to make her 5 cards, so I had to get them finished ready for when my hubby visits her this week. Here's one of the cards that I made for her using the sketch from Friday Sketchers. I wasn't sure what footy team he supports, so I decided to stay away from a completly blue or red outfit and go for something a bit unusual, therefore I wont offend him by giving the boy the wrong kit!!

Stamp - Stamposaurus

Paper - Papermania 'For Him' paper stack

Letter stickers - Doddlebug

Card Cardy and message - Craftwork cards

Scruffles Easel card

Well glad this working week is over. Still full of cold and I had a horrible presentation at work yesterday, I was not looking forward to it, but actually went OK. Today started off well I had a group of friends over and their children (14 bodies in our small house!!). The M&S cake went down well, so a good start to the day, but then my youngest son was sick at tea time. So it didn't end that great. He seams fine now though and is fast asleep, so I hope that's the end of his illness, maybe too much cake!!
I made a card last night to celebrate getting though my presentation.
Here it is:
